ANTI-FLU VACCINATION

We had our vaccination for anti-flu yesterday morning. This is to prevent from flu this winter. The nurse told us to rest for 15 minutes after the vaccination but I was very hard headed. I kept on asking hubby that we have to go because I’m so excited to buy some of my Christmas decor. Then I work a lot yesterday and now my arm where they injected is very sensible. Good thing that I don’t have fever last night. Until now it’s still sensible but its okey. I’m ready for the winter and not to be afraid to get sick.
I attended my second session of my French course and as I said before, we are working hard on my pronunciation. My professor was happy of my performance this morning because I’m improving a lot and I’m so happy as well.

MY CHRISTMAS TREE

Finally, my christmas tree is done. I started putting up my christmas tree last night but I was not able to finish it because hubby's friend came for a visit. We went for our vaccination this morning and did some lumpiang shanghai in the afternoon so my only chance to finish my christmas tree is tonight and I did it :-) I'm so happy that I finally did it. I'm not finish with my christmas decor but at least the christmas tree is there and with the snow falls this afternoon, it really gives me a spirit of christmas.

DISAPPOINTED

I was really disappointed today. Until now honey is not yet home. He called me this afternoon telling me that the work is not yet finish. I was really expecting him at lunch time but he's not around. It's raining today so I was not able to go out for a walk. I really feel weak if I can't go out in a day. I been watching tv the whole day but still I'm not satisfied. Then I suddenly think of something. It's been a while that I'm not doing some digiscrap. So I open my laptop and make one. Photo above is the result of work.

I guess I have to end this now. Hubby just call and his on his way home. He told me that we will go out for souper so I have to prepare myself now.

LONELY

Yes, I am so lonely today. Hubby left for Montreal this morning 5:00. He thought that he can be home at night but he just call me telling that the job is not yet finish and he needs to sleep there tonight and be home tomorrow afternoon. I feel bad because I'm not expecting that he will not be home tonight. It's so dull here in the house. I have nothing to do now. I did some lumpiang shanghai this morning because I have 60 dozen order again for Christmas. I finished putting some stuff in the living room. I wanted to do my christmas tree but I want to change the design this year and I need to buy some stuff but I don't have a car. Hubby got the car. I'm stuck with my christmas decoration. Anyway, I will just spend my time in my laptop because I miss it already. It's been long that I didn't spend much time in my baby lappy. Well, I will just visit you guys in your blogs.

FINALLY....

We're finally done in our living room. The painting is done, the varnish for the floor is done and the furniture is already there. The television will be deliver this friday. We purchased it last saturday but hubby wants it to be deliver this friday because he was afraid we were not able to finish the varnish and he still have to relocate the cable outlet. I don't mind to have the television on friday, what I want now is to put my christmas decor. I already put some this afternoon and I will continue tomorrow morning...oppssssss tomorrow morning, we will go to the laundry shop because our washing machine is broken. We have a big load of dirty cloths to be wash tomorrow. So I will finish my christmas decor tomorrow afternoon.

I'm so happy with our living room. The dining room is already clean now. What's left to do is the cupboard and the computer room. There are still lots of dust in the computer room and the papers are all upside down he he he. But this is not a big work. We can do it in just an hour.

LIVING ROOM ALMOST DONE

This morning hubby started to sand the floor in the living room and put one coat of varnish in the part where the wall was before. The varnish is not yet dry so we have to wait until it gets dry and we will put the second coat. After the second coat will be done, we will have to varnish all over the floor. I still don’t know when we finish this work. I’m really looking forward now to put my Christmas decor.

After the living room, we have to put the ceramic in the stairway but just in the bottom close to the basement. We didn’t finish it last summer because hubby was assigned in Edmonton. It’s not really that bad but its better if we will finish it before Christmas.

I feel pity to hubby because he’s complaining about his knee. He’s working a lot with his knee and it is getting painful now. I’m thinking to buy him tactical pants that I saw online. They have a big sale just now and I guess I will buy one for him.

FRENCH REFRESHMENT

Hi everyone! Today is a big day for me. I started my French refreshment today. This is only once a week and I choose Wednesday. That means I'm not available every Wednesday. I took the full day course. Each one of us has one professor. My professor is very nice and she taught me very well especially in my pronunciation. My only problem in French is only my pronunciation. Grammar is quite difficult but I’m doing well with it. We are working very hard in my verbal communication.
Everything is free in this course. We have free snack during our break. Juice, water, cookies, chocolate bars, snack bars and more are all free. I’m so happy that someone introduces me in this course. This will help me a lot in my French language and I can practice more with them.
After my course, I walk to home because the weather is very nice. We have warm sunny day this week. We are very lucky because some places here in Quebec already have snow and quite cold.
That’s all for today and tomorrow, we will start sanding the floor and I think we will go out. We will go to the park and take a walk while the weather is still nice.

NEED TO HAVE A CAR LOAN

It’s been almost two years now that I got my driver’s licence and still I don’t have my own car. Having two cars here are so expensive in the maintenance and insurance especially if only one is working. I’m not working so we decided to have only one car for the two of us. I drop hubby at work and I will keep the car for me. But now, I started looking for work and I already pass my Curriculum Vitae and I’m just waiting for their call. But last week, I found a good opportunity for me to practice my French. There is a religious organization in our place that conducts a French lesson for free. As you all know, I already finished my French language class but I don’t have enough practice because until now we talk English in the house. So, I took one day of French course and 3 days work. So I decided to buy my own car because hubby will need his car for work.

I want to buy my car with my own money but since I don’t have enough money for now, I’m looking for car loan. I found a best car loan online. JUST ARRIVED FROM MONTREAL

I'm back! I'm sorry guys I was not able to update my blogs for few days. We were in Montreal on the days that I'm inactive here. We just arrived tonight and we are very tired. I just rest a little and then took my shower before I open my lappy. Actually, I had my lappy with me but I don't have enough time to blog. We did lots of things in Montreal and another big adventure for me hehehehe. I will tell you what happen to me yesterday. Hubby was with friend and his daughter was asking me if I can pick up her son in the daycare. I knew the way to the daycare which is close to her house, so I said yes. It was in the middle of a big traffic jam. Infact, it's my second time driving in that area alone. I was very confident while driving. The traffic is so bad and I miss the exit. I started to get panic but I just continue in the same highway until I felt that I'm very close to downtown Montreal. Oh my! I tried to get out from the highway and find a place to park and call my husband but then I saw the sign going back to where I was. I took that highway and luckily, I found my way to the daycare hehehhehe. I was so happy that I arrived safe.

NIKON LOVER

My husband is a Nikon lover. He loves photography since he was 13 years old and his first camera was Nikon. Until now, he’s still using Nikon camera and all his accessories are all from Nikon. Last year, he bought me a Nikon camera because he wants me to have the same camera brand as him. He also has a Nikon’s All Terrain Binocular (ATB) but he sold it last year because he wants to buy a new one. He doesn’t know when he’s going to buy it. PAINTING

We started the first coat of primer last night at 9:00. We did the ceiling and the walls. This morning we did the second coat of primer and hubby did the first coat of the finishing white paint in the ceiling. We planned to do the first coat of paint in the wall tonight but we had an argument of the color and we were not in the mood of doing it so we will do it tomorrow. I think we're already close to finish the job. I started cleaning the dust in the kitchen. Oh my!I need to have a big cleaning all over the kitchen and dining room. There are lots of dust inside the cupboard. I need to wash all the kitchen utensils. I think I will do this tomorrow while hubby will do the first coat of paint in the wall. I guess by the end of next week, everything will be in place including my christmas decor hehehehe.

DEBT CONSOLIDATION

I just talk to my friend a while ago. She has big problem just now. She was laid off 2 days ago and she still has lots of debt from here credit cards and her car is not yet fully paid. She was panic and she doesn’t know where to get money to pay her monthly bill for her credit cards and car. She tried to borrowed money from me but I don’t have it just now. I’m not working and I’m supporting my mom in Philippines. I really want to help my friend. I tried to check in the internet if I can find something that will help her. Luckily I found debt consolidation and I guess this will help her a lot. I know that this is the answer of her problem because they will help her reduce her balances up to 50% with one easy low monthly payment.
I told her about this right away and she was very happy and excited to have her debt loans soon.

SNOW SNOW SNOW

At last it's snowing! Some places here in Quebec already have lots of snow 2 weeks ago. But here in our place, we had a little snow this morning. I don't think this will stay long. The weather is not that cold yet. Very soon, we will have lots of snow :-) I really love snow though it's pretty cold but you will just wear the proper cloths and everything will be okey and you will enjoy the whole winter.

That's all for now guys. I'm going back to my work. We're not yet done in our living room. We have to work this and finish soon because I can't work in the wednesday anymore because I will start another french class next week but this time it's only wednesday. This is still free but the class is one on one. There are only 8 students for now and each one of us have one professor. This time, I will be studying more in writing and communication. This will help me improve my communication skill.

MESSY JOB

The messy job in the house is almost done. The sanding in the wall and in the ceiling were already done. The floor was done too. I already vacuum the floor but there are still some dust in the furniture and in the kitchen. I will do it tomorrow and the next step will be the varnish in the floor and painting all over the living room. I guess we will finish before December...maybe in two weeks. I'm so excited now.

DEMOLITION

Wow! It's been a week now that I didn't update all my blogs. I'm so sorry about it guys. We are so busy lately and I guess this will go on until december. As I said in my previous post, we are late in demolishing our living room. And finally, we already done in demolishing the wall and electricity is also done. At least the big jobs were done. The next job will be the sanding of the floor and varnish then paint the wall. Sanding is quite a big job also and I can imagine the dust all over the house. I'm looking forward to finish this job so that I can start putting my christmas decor and we will shop for a new couch and new cinema maison (home theater).

We didn't do anything today. We just want to rest and tomorrow will be my hubby's birthday. Too bad I can't do a party in the house. But I will treat him tomorrow in the new Thai Resto here.

BAD WEATHER

You won’t believe me if I will tell you that at this hour (4:11p.m.) I’m still in my pajama. I woke up not late this morning because I want to serve the breakfast in bed for my hubby. Then after the breakfast, we continue our work here in the house and this time, we’re working with the papers here in the computer room. We throw a lot of papers and the recycle container is already full. We will just put it in the next batch. We’re not finish yet. We still have some more things to do in the living room’s closet. I’m working with my pajama hehehe. I don’t feel to change because I’m comfortable working with my pajama. We didn’t go out because it’s raining and very dark and so windy. Opps! Honey went to his office for a meeting and I just stayed home and watch TV. After this I will take a shower because we will have our souper at my brother-in-law’s place.
Oh by the way, I just want to share to you what happen to my Halloween decors outside. I didn’t know that the wind is so strong because I’m in the house and I didn’t go out. When I check outside, one bag of leaves put under the tree flew to the street. I put my jacket right away because I want to take it back under the tree. It only took me a few second to go out. When looked back in the tree, all the bags were in the street already. Oh my! I just realize that the wind is so strong until now. I guess, snow will follow very soon.

FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK

My first day of the week starts with a bright and sunny morning. I woke up with the sunlight in my face. Hubby opens the curtain in our room to have a light when he brought my breakfast in the bed. It’s been long that I didn’t have my breakfast in bed. After we installed the roof in the patio last summer, we always have our breakfast in the patio. We even minimize in going to the restaurant for breakfast because we want to enjoy our patio in the summer. We took out the roof I think two weeks ago for the winter. Since then, we also go out for brunch. But this morning hubby surprised me with a breakfast in the bed. I was so happy because I really miss it. We used to have breakfast in bed every Saturday before and it stopped in summer.
We spent our day outside. We been somewhere and we arrived home almost 4:00 in the afternoon. We didn’t do much work in the house today. I’m not so happy about it because hubby’s boss called him and told him that he will work anytime this month. We didn’t start demolishing the wall yet. Oh my! I’m really looking forward to put my Christmas decor soon. I’m just waiting to finish the work in the living room. I hope we will finish middle of November.
That’s all for now and I will go back working my pictures. This is also one of my problem now. I’m getting lost with all my pictures. I don’t know how to file them. Any tips?

SAN FRANCISCO TO SAN DIEGO

When my husband worked in California, he moved two times. First he worked in San Francisco for 6 months and then his boss transferred him to San Diego. He had a hard time to move because aside from he was working fulltime, he’s not from California and he knows nothing in moving. His friend can’t help him because he was working to. He looked for a moving company to assist him. He found the American Van Lines. He was so happy and thankful to relocation.com. They helped him a lot in planning everything to make it easy for the moving. And not only that, their service fee is also affordable.

Hubby moved to San Diego without any stress.

BUSY DAY

Yes! We are so busy today. Infact, we are not yet finish here. I just stop a little to give you some update. After we attended the sunday mass, we went to the restaurant for a brunch. Hubby told me while we were eating that he might work in Houston, Texas. If this will happen, he might start very soon and our plan of demolishing the wall in the living room will be cancel which I don't want. So, we went home right after the brunch and we empty the closet in the living room because that's the one we will demolish. I'm looking forward to finish this work so that I can start putting up my christmas decor. I have to go back to my work now...til next time

I just finish my other blogsite GAGIERS PHOTOGRAPHY. This site is mainly for my photographs. I have been interested in the field of photography just a few months ago. And lately, I’m thinking of taking a photography course but I’m sure I will not take it this year. Probably I will take it next year in the winter. Just now, hubby is giving me some tricks on how to have a good shot. I’m not a good photographer yet but I’m learning.

READY FOR WINTER

We all know that winter is fast approaching. That means we have to start preparing everything for the winter like winter tires, snow pale, snow blower, winter stuff for the car and of course winter clothes and shoes. We already finished preparing outside the house like the water hose is already empty, the fence were already in the shed, the grass is already ready for the winter and so with my plants. We are still using the summer tire. We will put the winter tires first week of December.
This afternoon, we went for my boots. Hubby bought me a new pair of boots which is good up to -40 C/-40 F because this year, we will do a lot of winter activity. In this way, my feet will not be freeze. This boots is quite expensive because we bought it at this time of the year which is not on sale. Good thing that I bought my winter jacket last spring with 60% discount because it’s already at the end of the season. I guess I did a good purchase in my jacket because this afternoon, we had a look of the same jacket and it cost a fortune hehehe.
Well, I’m already ready for the winter and much looking forward for it. Winter here is cold but there are much activity going on that you will enjoy.

OPENING A NEW BANK ACCOUNT

Yesterday we went to the bank and I open a new bank account exclusive for my family in Philippines. I have automatic transfer from hubby’s account to my own bank account. The transfer will go to my 2 bank account. I have 2 bank accounts at the same name. One is for the house and the other one is for my own. Then yesterday, I open another one because this money transfer that I am into now to send to my family is online transfer. I don’t want to use any of my 2 accounts so I decided to have another one just for my family. This account is empty. We will only make a deposit if we need to send money to them. In this way, I feel safe because there’s nothing in this account.
While doing the transaction yesterday, the woman offers me a visa card. I already have MasterCard as hubby’s extension. But I want to have my own. I was not able to make up my mind yesterday so I told the woman that I will call her back as soon as I will fix my mind. I was hesitated to have it because just now, I’m the one who pays all the bills in the house. I’m the one who do the budget. Well, the money is already there. All I need to do is make sure that I will not spend more than what I have in the bank. I’m really afraid of debt because I know a lot of my friends that are suffering from debt. They made a loan from the bank with their house as collateral. They use their credit card for their daily needs. When it’s time to pay the bills, they don’t know where to get the money because their salary is not enough because of the interest of their debt that goes up and up. They get so stress. They have to work overtime or work 2 jobs. I know some of them are into debt consolidation.
